The Handbook
This is the handbook for ImmortalVision team. It is a blueprint for our team members to understand our principles, guidelines, and best practices. It is a living document that evolves with our team, our projects and our vision.
Why it exists
Over the years, we have learned that as humans we are creatures of habit and we forget the valuable lessons we learn from our experiences.
We have learned that we need to document our work, by writing it down we can build on it and make it better with each iteration, hence we can track our progress and share our knowledge with the rest of the work by going open-source, we believe world will be a better place when we share our knowledge.
We also know as programmers or more generally as creators, we need structure, we need some principles to follow. Remote work is not easy, it requires a lot of self-discipline, self-motivation and self-organization.
In this handbook, we address a lot of challenges that come with remote work, we discuss the principles of remote work, protocols, and practices we are following, we share our experiences, our mistakes, and our learnings.
Single Source of Truth
This handbook is the single source of truth for our team members. It is the place where we document everything we learn and everything we do.
It is updated regularly and everyone is encouraged to contribute to it, to make it better. It is a living document that evolves with our team and our projects.
